Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page for Foyle Hospice in memory of two very special men — Jim Doherty and Lawrence Moore (Ciarán & Declan's dads).

Both were selfless men of incredible kindness, unwavering strength, boundless generosity and positive core values.

Lawrence passed away in November, surrounded by his loving family circle, including his many grandchildren, great grandchildren and friends.

Jim died peacefully in January, surrounded by his family after a short period of illness. He spent his final weeks in Foyle Hospice where he & his family received amazing care & support during the most difficult of times.

Over the past few months we have undertaken several events to fundraise (including bake sales, pottery nights, a Rickety Wheel & more) and this now culminates with 10+ family members running the Derry Half Marathon (Sunday 1st September), and finally a small group running the Great North Run (GNR) in Newcastle (Sunday 8th September).

Whether you knew Lawrence or Jim personally or have arrived at this page in support of our families and the Foyle Hospice, we greatly appreciate every single donation. Your contributions, both big and small, will help make a difference in the lives of many!
