Story

Our journey into parenthood has been long, emotional, and deeply challenging. Sadly, we lost two little boys 🌈 — one at 19 weeks + 6 days and another at 21 weeks + 3 days. Those losses changed us forever.

After our second loss, I was diagnosed with an incompetent cervix. Thanks to an incredible medical team at The John Radcliffe Hospital, I was able to undergo a transabdominal cerclage, a procedure that gave us hope and helped prevent further pregnancy loss.

Even with this support, pregnancy was far from easy. I attended weekly appointments, driving 1 hour and 30 minutes each way, living with constant anxiety. Every week felt fragile. We were always afraid that we might lose our baby, and carrying that fear for months was emotionally exhausting.

Today, we are incredibly lucky to have our little boy, Winston Michael Ewart. But our story didn’t begin with his arrival — it began back in 2021, with loss, resilience, and learning how to keep going when everything feels uncertain.

That’s why I’ve chosen to partner with The Worst Girl Gang Ever Foundation — to support families experiencing miscarriage and baby loss, and to help ensure that no one going through this journey feels alone. Baby loss is isolating, painful, and often silent — and this fundraising effort is about breaking that silence, offering support, and reminding families that they are seen, heard, and not alone.

Thank you for being part of this journey 🤍
