In June 2026, I will be joining a team of Bristol & Devon probation and prison animal loving adventurers to embark on a hiking challenge in Norway.

Over the 5 days we will be hiking around 44km in total and roughly 35km kayaking.

This will be a challenge for myself mentally and physically and something very much out of my comfort zone!

The team are taking on this adventure with one mission...to raise vital funds to support animals in need for the charity International Aid for the Protection and Welfare of Animals (IAPWA). Donations to this challenge will make a significant difference in supporting the thousands of animals who rely on the lifeline they provide through their projects and support programmes worldwide.

This money will help their work which includes providing veterinary services to animals in need, educating communities about the importance of animal welfare, working with authorities to develop humane dog and cat population management programmes, and even finding supportive homes for dogs and cats through our adoption programmes.

As well as much-needed food bundles, veterinary treatment, neutering and much more for stray animals worldwide.
