Hello everyone,

Last season at West Didsbury & Chorlton FC, we were extremely saddened at the passing of a long term friend, teammate and incredible human being, Stephen Piggott, or "Piggo" as many knew him as.

Piggo was dealing with Kidney Cancer, whilst bravely maintaining his duties with both work, football and family...all which he loved so very dearly.

Cancer is sadly, something that will affect millions of people every year, whether that is those closet to you, or even the friend of a friends relative. My own Dad bravely fought against Prostate Cancer, so this is extremely close to my heart.

The remainder of the season, along with this season has not been the same without Piggo. Therefore to commemorate both him, and the millions of other people that suffer from variations of Cancer, I am partnering up with my club player sponsor JP & Brimelow, to raise further money for The Christie's Charity.

To do so, for every clean sheet that I keep, I will be donating £30 to The Christie Charity. JP & Brimelow will be matching this total throughout the season.
