Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer. Just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this disease. We are a leading voice calling for support and action for research into what is called the last battleground against cancer.

Story

We are raising money in support of Glenn Campbell’s Brain Power fundraising community to help fight back against brain tumours.

Brain tumours are the biggest cancer killer of children and adults under the age of 40, according to both the Brain Tumour Charity and Brain Tumour Research.

These grim statistics need to change.

That’s why Brain Power was started - a fundraising community to fight back against brain tumours.

The basic idea is that the more scientific brain power that can be trained on this problem, the more likely the experts are to make breakthroughs in treatment and the search for a cure.

Funds raised by the Brain Power team are donated to Brain Tumour Research to fund the work of their Scottish Brain Tumour Research centre.

The centre brings together scientists from the universities of Edinburgh and Glasgow, helps them scale up their research and progress promising new therapies into clinical trials.

The Scottish centre is part of a UK wide network with existing centres in London, Nottingham, Plymouth and Surrey.

If you would like to give the brain tumour patients of tomorrow faster diagnosis, better treatment and longer lives - please make a donation or join our fundraising family.

Your support is greatly appreciated.

Thank you ❤️
