Dementia UK is the specialist dementia nurse charity. Our nurses, called Admiral Nurses – who we continually support and develop – provide life-changing care for families affected by all forms of dementia, including Alzheimer’s disease.

Story

As many of you are aware, our amazing Dad was diagnosed with dementia a little while back. He bravely shared this with the world to raise awareness and support others. Since then, he has talked openly about his experiences, and continued to work. We are all so proud of him. As a family, we want to continue to support this amazing charity, so that we can find a cure sooner, and help more people navigate this cruel disease.

Walking 100km over a month doesn't sound so bad, but I live in Saudi Arabia and so much of this challenge will happen in 40+ heat. I will try to beat this total number of KMs and also try to smash the fundraising target.

Any pounds (or SARs!) you can give me will be hugely appreciated.
