Story

Hi everyone,

Thank you for visiting my JustGiving page. I’m taking on a personal challenge to walk from London to Brussels on Thursday 23 July 2026, aiming to raise £1,500 in support of Revive Congo — a London-based charity dedicated to improving the lives of children in the Democratic Republic of Congo through access to education.

Having been born in the DRC and moving to the UK at a young age, I’ve been fortunate to grow up in an environment that supported my education. This allowed me to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and a Master’s degree in Public Policy. Unfortunately, for many children in the DRC, this opportunity simply doesn’t exist.

Many young people face significant barriers from an early age — including limited access to schools, lack of funding, inadequate uniforms and equipment, and insufficient food and hygiene support. These challenges make it difficult for them to attend school consistently and reach their full academic potential.

The funds raised through this journey will help Revive Congo continue its vital work: supporting children’s education and giving them the chance to build better futures. Together, we can help nurture the next generation of engineers, doctors, nurses, teachers, economists, and leaders.

Every donation, no matter the size, makes a difference. Please also consider sharing this page to help spread the word.
