Story

On Friday 1st March 2024, Clifton High School Sixth Form will be holding a rowing competition to raise money for the Bristol charity - Ups and Downs.

The event will run from 9.10am to 3.00pm with two teams of Year 12, Year 13 students and staff members.

We have chosen Ups & Downs Southwest as it is a local charity that offers support to children and young people who have Down Syndrome. They work directly with families, professionals and all those involved with the care and education of these individuals so they enjoy a happy, healthy, fulfilling life.

By supporting Ups and Downs Southwest, our challenge will help raise funds to provide direct support to families, run information & training days, youth clubs and Family Days alongside a telephone helpline and training for professionals and schools. They currently support over 400 families in the southwest.
