Climbing Kilimanjaro for Men's Mental Health

Greg Telford is raising money for ANDYSMANCLUB

Climbing Kilimanjaro for Men's Mental Health · 20 January 2026

ANDYSMANCLUB facilitates groups where men aged 18 and above can speak openly about their issues in a non judgmental environment through shared experiences. Groups run nationwide every Monday 7pm except bank holidays and are completely volunteer-led with no charge to any man.

Story

In January, I'll be standing at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro, looking up at the 'Roof of Africa'.

8-days, 5,895m (19,341 ft) of challenge, exhaustion, and determination - all to support a cause that recently has meant the world to me:

Andy's Man Club.

Far too many men feel they have no one to turn to when life gets overwhelming. Andy's Man Club offers a safe, non-judgemental space for men to talk, listen and realise they are not alone. Their work changes - and saves - lives in our local communities.

Climbing Kilimanjaro will push me to my physical and mental limits, but I know it's nothing compared to the battles some people face every day. I'm taking on this mountain to raise awareness, to spark conversations, and to raise funds so this vital support can reach even more men who need it.

Every donation, no matter the size, brings me closer to my £2,000 goal - and helps us take another step towards breaking the stigma and giving hope.

Climbing the mountain for those who feel they can't.
