Story

Hello everyone! Thank you for visiting my JustGiving page. I am embarking on an incredible challenge - climbing Ben Nevis, the highest peak in Scotland, with the weight of my beloved papa on my back.

My papa recently had a stroke, and witnessing his struggle firsthand has deeply moved me. I am determined to make a difference and support stroke survivors in Scotland.

Now, I want to clarify that I won't actually be carrying my papa up the mountain. This would be fairly uncomfortable for the old man! Instead, I will be carrying the weight equivalent to his, which is 48kg. This symbolic gesture represents the burden that stroke survivors carry and the challenges they face on their road to recovery.

By taking on this physically demanding feat, I hope to raise awareness about the impact of strokes and the importance of supporting stroke survivors in their journey towards rehabilitation and independence.

Your generous donations will go directly to Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland, providing vital resources, rehabilitation programs, and support services to those affected by strokes. Together, we can make a meaningful difference in the lives of stroke survivors and their families.

Thank you for your support in advance “For Papa” 🗻🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿👴🏻
