Story
Having been convinced by a colleague I should put my cycling skills (mostly ambling around London and to the office and back) to the test, I am now embarking on some slightly more serious training in anticipation of The Duchenne Dash on May 8th & 9th when I will cycle 300km from London to Paris in 24hours.
'The Duchenne Dash is Duchenne UK's annual signature cycling event. Over the past 14 years, the Dash has grown into our biggest and most challenging fundraising event of the year and has raised more than £9 million for Duchenne muscular dystrophy research (DMD).
Since the first Dash in 2013, Duchenne UK has brought light to a once dark and lonely landscape. Every achievement — from building a clinical trial network, to new drug approvals, to vastly improving care, and to developing pioneering tech to help disability – has been fuelled by the Dash.'
Having only occasionally raised money for charity in such a meaningful way and rarely for such an important reason I now ask if you can kindly donate to help me raise over £4,200 for this charity.
Many thanks in advance !
Best,
Clive
