Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

After running a handful of half marathons over the last few years, I've decided to up the challenge and complete a half marathon every month in 2024! All of the twelve 13.1 mile runs will be official mass-start events across the East of England.

I'm doing all of this to help raise funds for the British Polio Fellowship – a great charity that supports and empowers people living with the effects of polio and Post-Polio Syndrome (PPS), a neurological condition. It is estimated there are 120,000 people living with the late effects of polio and PPS in the UK.

I have a personal connection to this cause in that my dad contracted polio as a child and has lived with the effects ever since. I am extremely proud of his resilience over the years and would like to give something back to a charity that he is a great supporter of.

I'll post progress updates throughout the year as I (hopefully) complete each event.

Thank you so much if you are able to donate – it all adds up and is much appreciated.
