Cllr Graeme's fundraiser for Isabel Hospice

Cllr Graeme Hill is raising money for Isabel Hospice

The Mayor of Ware, Cllr Graeme Hill, will be embarking on a 42 mile long journey along the River Lea during April, from source to sea, to raise funds for his chosen charity Isabel Hospice.

Isabel Hospice exists to journey alongside people during some of life's most difficult times. Offering expert compassionate care, advice and support those living with progressive, life-limiting illnesses. Our care is free of charge to those who need it, but it is not without cost.

Story

Isabel Hospice provides palliative support to the 370,000 people who live in eastern Hertfordshire.

Hospice care is about helping people to live well for as long as possible and have a good death in the place of their choice when the time comes. Without your help, we could not make this possible for our patients and their families. Each year we care for approx 2,000 people but we know there are even more people that need our help.
