Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Open Door is a charity dedicated to improving the mental health and wellbeing of young people aged 12-24 in Haringey through specialist therapeutic support.

They offer free. evidence based talking-therapy, specifically tailored for this age group. They also support parents and carers, who are concerned about their children, during this transitional life-stage. Open Door makes psychological therapy accessible, and accepts self-referrals.

Open Door has been supporting the emotional wellbeing of adolescents and young adults in Haringey, for over 45 years. Last year they worked with over 900 young people.

Through supporting open door I will not only raise much needed funds but will use my mayoralty to highlight this not so hidden epidemic and to raise the profile of this wonderful charity in the heart of our borough.
