As a Wish Granter at Rays of Sunshine, I have witnessed the incredible impact a wish can have on a child. Whether it’s meeting an idol, taking a much-needed family break, or celebrating a birthday - wishes are a positive and empowering experience for children suffering from serious and terminal illnesses.

I am taking on the challenge of running the London Marathon 2026 on April 26th, in memory of my brother, Tyrone, who was diagnosed with a brain tumour at just two years old. During this difficult time for my family, a wish was granted for him to meet his favorite character. This opportunity allowed us precious moments together before he sadly passed away shortly after. His wish is now a treasured memory for our family, providing us with a chance to celebrate his life and love.
