Story
My husband, Mike, passed away on 24th March following a long battle with cancer. He received the very best end of life care with the Hospiscare charity in Exeter. The team were incredible, not only providing medical care for Mike, but also emotional and wellbeing support for our family.
Following the tragic skydiving accident at Dunkeswell aerodrome we will no longer taking part in a Skydive. We will however, be undertaking a crazy triathlon to raise money for Hospiscare, the charity that provides support for terminally ill patients and their families across Exeter, Mid and East Devon.
We will cover 7 miles on land, scale 77metres, and cover 7 miles on water between Exeter Quay and Topsham. We will cover 7 miles on land either as a run or a cycle, we will climb 77m (up and down the large wall) at The Quay Climbing Centre, and we will cover 7 miles on the water either using a paddleboard or kayak! This is considerably more of a physical challenge but we're determined to do it in one day. We will be supported by Saddles & Paddles in Exeter Quay with kayak and cycle hire.
My aim is to raise as much money as possible so that the charity can continue to care for patients and as a Team Keyloop are aiming to raise £10,000 between us for Hospiscare.
Please help me help them by giving whatever you can. Spread the word by sharing my page with family and friends, too. Your donation and support can really make a difference.
Thank you!
