Kelpies Challenge · 26 October 2025

St Vincent's Hospice is a charitable organisation at the heart of the community, offering specialised care and services to all those affected by life-limiting illness.

Story

On Sunday 26th October 2025, Carole, Mark, Hannah, Ellie, Sam and Abbie are taking on the Kelpies Challenge, a one-of-a-kind 1.5-hour assault course set high within the iconic heads of the world-famous Kelpies.

This exciting adventure will push our limits, test our nerves, and thrill our senses, all while raising vital funds for the incredible care provided by St Vincent’s Hospice. The hospice is a charitable organisation dedicated to delivering compassionate, specialist care to individuals living with life-limiting illnesses. Serving communities across Renfrewshire and parts of North Ayrshire, it offers a range of services including inpatient care, community nursing, day services, and bereavement support. Their person-centred approach ensures that care is tailored to the needs and preferences of patients and their families, while spiritual and pastoral support is provided to reflect the diverse backgrounds of those they serve. As a charity, St Vincent’s Hospice relies on the generosity of volunteers, donors, and supporters to continue providing this essential care. Here at Holmes Mackillop, we are proud to support the wonderful work they do.

Your generosity will help this fantastic charity continue their vital services and will give us the encouragement to keep climbing even when our legs are shaking.

Thank you for your support.
