Community Music Schools of Toronto (CMST) is a music school that gives young people aged 4-18 who face socio-economic barriers in accessing music education free, high quality music lessons, instruments and once-in-a-lifetime performance opportunities in a safe, creative environment where they can thrive. Founded in 1999, the school has grown from 71 students to now reach over 850 students across the city, offering after-school, weekend and Summer Camp music programs.
