The role of Learning and Development professionals is becoming increasingly challenging. They must deal with limited budgets, cater to employees across generations, keep up with fast-changing technology, support organisational change, and navigate job cuts. It’s more important than ever that we, as a community, support the people who spend their careers helping others grow.

Coaching for L and D is a non-profit project run voluntarily by members of the LD Shakers community. We offer free coaching to any Learning and Development professional who needs space, support, and clarity in identifying the direction they want to go next. We are proud to run two coaching pathways:

💙 1:1 Coaching - 9th edition

Our original Coaching for LD programme continues to offer one-to-one coaching sessions, providing personalised space for reflection, clarity, and growth.

🔴 Group Coaching — (just finished - 2nd edition)

A more collaborative coaching experience where small groups come together to reflect, share challenges, and learn from each other with the support of a volunteer Coach.

Pay it forward: supporting Save the Children

Starting from the seventh edition of the project, we introduced a voluntary “pay it forward” element. Coachees are invited (but never required) to make an anonymous donation to Save the Children using our fundraising page.
