Story
Coapt is beyond proud to be participating inThe Clock Tower Sanctuary’s Big City Sleepout—an initiative aimed at shedding light on the struggles of young people experiencing homelessness. Our goal is not just awareness but also to rally essential funds to make a tangible difference.
Brighton & Hove has the second highest levels of homelessness outside of London at 3,700 (Shelter-2021). And post-Covid, we are also seeing higher numbers of people with multiple, complex needs.
As a letting agent, we recognise our social responsibility to advocate for and engage in causes that truly matter and that are close to home. This event is a poignant reminder of the daily struggles endured by 25% of CTS clients who find themselves sleeping rough. Despite the imminent challenges—braving the elements, facing the bitter cold (as many do each night)—this is our chance to make a difference and raise funds for those navigating incredibly vulnerable situations.
Donate here to make a difference such as:
£10 can pay for a young person to have a shower, wash their clothes and eat a healthy, hot meal.
£20 can pay for a new pair of shoes or clothing for a job interview or first day of work.
£200 can pay for us to train and support a volunteer to support a young person.
£500 can pay for a young homeless person to access all of our support and facilities for two months.
Thank you for your ongoing support to Coapt and The Clock Tower Sanctuary.
