Everyone knows there are plenty of charity challenges, but if you think about it :

A Parachute jump takes a few minutes

A marathon will take most people between 3 to 6 hours to complete

To climb a mountain - probably a couple of days

..........but, to drive a a 22 year old BMW Estate that looks like the Ghost Busters car and cost £620 from eBay through France, Andorra, Spain, Gibraltar, Portugal and eventually onto to Majorca over 8 days - that's a proper charity challenge!

From Friday 6th June to Saturday 14th June we ( That's Keith Hall and Simon Lane ) will drive the 2,900 miles approx. from Chiddingstone Castle in Kent to Majorca. Coast to Coast all the way to Majorca......

We take the Eurotunnel under the channel to Calais, head to Toulouse, cross the Pyrenees to Andorra then onto Porto and Lisbon. A quick trip to Gibraltar and onto the Costa Del Sol before taking an overnight ferry to Majorca and eventually going to the Cap de Formentor Lighthouse in Majorca.

Last time out in 2018, The Hauser Power Mercedes didn't make it all the way to Corfu and broke down on the Kosovo/Albania border and we left it there - there is still a "debate" between us as to who was to blame, but Keith was driving at the time......
