Help Adrian & Danny Conquer the Pan Celtic Ultra 2026 and Support Hearing Dogs for Deaf People

On 12th July 2026, we will be standing on the start line of one of the toughest endurance races in the world – the Pan Celtic Ultra 2026.

Together, we will attempt to cover an incredible 1,031 miles and over 45,000 feet of climbing, pushing ourselves through days and nights of continuous running across some of the most challenging terrain in the Celtic nations.

We are not doing this challenge just for ourselves.

My name is Adrian Dowling, owner of Coastal Hearing in Rhos-on-Sea, where I have spent many years helping people improve their hearing and quality of life.

Joining me is my friend Danny White-Meir, owner of Corna Storr Coffee in Rhos-on-Sea.

As well as sharing a passion for endurance challenges, we are both huge dog lovers, which makes this cause especially close to our hearts. The work carried out by Hearing Dogs for Deaf People combines two things we care deeply about – helping people and the incredible bond between humans and dogs.

The charity also has a special local connection for us. One of Corna Storr Coffee's regular customers, Sarah, works for Hearing Dogs for Deaf People and has helped us learn more about the life-changing impact the charity has on the people it supports. Hearing first-hand about the difference these remarkable dogs make has inspired us to dedicate our Pan Celtic Ultra challenge to this fantastic cause.

Every day I see how hearing loss can affect confidence, communication and independence. Hearing Dogs for Deaf People transforms lives by training dogs to alert deaf people to important sounds while providing companionship, reassurance and emotional support. These dogs help people reconnect with family, friends and the world around them.

The Pan Celtic Ultra will test us physically, mentally and emotionally. There will be difficult days, sleepless nights, challenging weather and countless miles ahead of us. Knowing that we're supporting such an important cause will help keep us moving when things get tough.
