RNLI volunteer lifeboat crews provide a 24-hour search and rescue service all around the UK and Ireland, while lifeguards keep a careful watch on the UK’s busiest beaches. RNLI lifesaving and drowning prevention depend on supporter fundraising and the generous donations that you and others give.

Story

🚶‍♀️Sponsored Coastal Walk for RNLI – In Memory of Jason Lavender 🚶‍♀️

On 3rd May, the Birchwood Motor Group Parts Team will be taking on an exciting and challenging sponsored walk — covering 26 miles along the South Coast, from Brighton Pier to Eastbourne Pier, all to raise money for the RNLI in Memory of Jason Lavender who sadly passed away last year.

This walk isn’t just about the distance; it’s about coming together to support an incredible cause. The RNLI works tirelessly to save lives at sea, providing vital rescue services and safety education to protect people around our coasts. Their crews are made up largely of dedicated volunteers who are ready to respond whenever they’re needed, often in the most challenging conditions.

We are proud to be completing this challenge in Memory of Jason Lavender and to help raise funds that will directly contribute to the RNLI’s lifesaving work.
