At Coastline, we believe in making a positive difference in the communities we serve. This year, colleagues from across the organisation are coming together to raise £4,000 for two incredible charities that have a lasting impact on the lives of people and animals throughout Cornwall and beyond.

The money raised will be split equally between The Wave Project and Cornwall Animal Hospital, helping both organisations continue the vital work they do every day.

The Wave Project uses the power of surfing and the sea to improve the mental health and wellbeing of children and young people. Through surf therapy programmes, they help young people build confidence, resilience and positive social connections while enjoying the benefits of Cornwall's coastline.

Cornwall Animal Hospital provides essential veterinary care and treatment for animals across Cornwall. Their dedicated team works tirelessly to care for sick and injured pets, helping families keep their beloved companions healthy while promoting animal welfare throughout the county.

To support these fantastic causes, Coastline colleagues are taking on not one, but two fundraising challenges.

Ride the Wave, Row for Paws is a 26.2-hour relay challenge where colleagues will work together to keep a rowing machine, exercise bike and cross trainer moving continuously while aiming to cover 422 miles, the equivalent length of Cornwall's coastline.

Coastline's Sunrise to Sunset Challenge is a 26.2-mile marathon route taking participants across some of Cornwall's most iconic landmarks, with colleagues able to walk, jog or run as much or as little of the route as they choose.

These challenges are about more than fundraising. They are an opportunity to bring colleagues together, promote wellbeing, support teamwork and make a meaningful difference to two charities that do so much for others.

Every donation, no matter how big or small, will help us move closer to our £4,000 target. Your support will help provide life-changing opportunities for young people through The Wave Project and support the care and treatment of animals through Cornwall Animal Hospital.
