Story
Support Our Coast-to-Coast Panama Jungle Expedition for Wiltshire Search & Rescue (WILSAR)
This April I’ll be part of a three man team with two serving Royal Marines as the expedition medic. We’ll be taking on a grueling coast-to-coast journey via the Camino Real trail across the dense jungles of Panama. Battling extreme humidity, river crossings, and unforgiving terrain, we’re pushing our limits to raise vital funds for Wiltshire Search & Rescue (WILSAR)
Your support will help provide essential equipment, training, and resources to WILSAR. WILSAR are on call 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and are trained to operate across all types of terrain from the most remote areas of Salisbury Plain through to urban centres and around water.
Based locally, the team remains available to assist the emergency services at all times and WILSAR volunteers are trained to the UK Lowland Rescue National Standards and fulfil the same role as Mountain Rescue, Coastguard Rescue and the RNLI.
The expedition is entirely self funded so every donation will go directly to WILSAR and bring us closer to our goal—please help us make a difference!
