After our amazing success on the Coastway ‘BIG WALK’ 2025, we’ve decided to do it again.

The Coastway Vets team (joined by friends and family) are planning to walk/hike from our furthest Eastern practice Lewes to our furthest Western Practice Shoreham over the space of one day and visit/ stopping by each one of our practices on the way to the finish mark. Completing somewhere in the region of 28miles.

January marks a few big annual awareness periods. One of the main ones when it comes to our four-legged fury friends is National walk your dog month.

Nearly 30 team members participated throughout the event last year and we raised just under £3,000.

Canine Partners amazing dogs bring a greater independence and quality of life to their partners, offering security, companionship, and practical help with everyday household tasks. They are trained to help with everyday tasks such as opening and closing doors, unloading the washing machine, picking up dropped items, pressing buttons and switches and fetching help in an emergency. Our life-transforming dogs also provide psychological and social benefits including increased independence, confidence, social interaction and self-esteem.
