Story
THE CHALLENGE
On Friday 24th October 2025, some of the Coatech Team together with other supporters from across our local community will come together to face their fears and take on the 'Fire Walk Challenge' : a barefoot walk across red-hot embers measuring around 800 degrees.
Our aim is to help raise vital funds for a very deserving local charity; the St Kentigern Hospice in St.Asaph.
Walking barefoot across glowing embers isn’t just about bravery – it’s about showing strength, solidarity and support for the patients and families who rely on St Kentigern Hospice every single day. Every step across the fire bed represents the courage and resilience shown by people facing life-limiting illnesses.
THE CHARITY
The St. Kentigern Hospice, founded in 1995, provides specialist palliative care services to patients with life-limiting illnesses. Their services are provided free of charge to patients and their families across Denbighshire, West Flintshire and East Conwy.
They rely on donations to help raise crucial funds to run the hospice and ensure that patients and their families receive the best possible care.
Any donations would be very gratefully received to help ensure compassionate care continues for our community.
Thank you for your support
