We are three sisters raising money for the British Heart Foundation.

We are running in Lisbon in October 2026. Ali will be running her second marathon, Izzie and Sue a lesser distance but with as much enthusiasm. Maggie and Caroline will be there to support them.

As you all know, Dad's heart attack on 30 October 2025 was not his first, and he was so lucky to have had Mum to earn her 'life-saving medal' (his words!) when he collapsed in Verbier in 2002. Thanks to Mum's actions, the availability of the local defibrillator and amazing work of the doctors in Switzerland and at the Brompton both in 2002 and the years that followed Dad had an amazing next 23 years.

He was a strong supporter of the BHF both during his life and in his will, and we hope that we can fundraise in honour of that to help the BHF continue to create new treatments and save lives.

£50 could help support promising early career scientists with quality training to become future leaders in cardiovascular research.
