I'm participating in Manta Trust's Cross the Oceans 2023 challenge because I learned about mantas from Nicole Pelletier who started the Caribbean Islands Manta Conservation Program. Little is know about mantas. They are the largest ray species. You can tell individuals apart by the spots on their bellies. They are a threatened species and need our help. I'm sailing to support manta conservation.
