During February 2026 Coat On Coat Off Wellbeing Walks will be walking weekly and donating all monies raised by those participating in our walks to Sussex Search and Rescue.

Sussex Search and Rescue (SusSAR) is the primary search resource for Sussex Police. We are a dedicated team of professionally trained and equipped local volunteers who can employ specialist skills in the search for vulnerable missing persons

Sussex Search & Rescue (SusSAR) is one of many Lowland Search & Rescue units which exist across the country. They are affiliated to Lowland Rescue who co-ordinate the county-based groups and set the training standards they have to adhere to.

As a 100% volunteer organisation their members give their time free of charge and expect nothing in return but satisfaction from a job well done. They exist to serve the community of Sussex through the goodwill of our members and charitable donations.

They can be called out by Sussex Police and neighbouring units at any time day or night. Their team is on call 24 hours a day, 365 days a year whatever the weather.

They dedicate their time to help the people of Sussex that need them the most when their loved ones go missing.
