Help Us Build a Sensory Room for Eastbourne Families at Coda Pharmacy

For many families in Eastbourne navigating neurodivergence, sensory processing differences, or complex physical needs, finding a safe, dedicated space to relax and engage is incredibly difficult.

We want to change that and bring this vital resource closer to home.

At Coda Pharmacy, we are committed to making a positive, tangible impact in our community. We are currently converting one of the rooms in our pharmacy offices into a dedicated, state of the art sensory room right here in Eastbourne.

What We’ve Done So Far

We have already funded and completed the structural work to make the space ready. We have widened the doorways to ensure seamless wheelchair access and modified the layout so the room is physically accessible, safe, and welcoming for everyone.

Why We Need Your Help

To open our doors, we are now fundraising for the specialised equipment and the ongoing running costs of the room. Creating a truly immersive and therapeutic sensory environment requires high quality, durable resources, such as interactive bubble tubes, fibre optic lighting, padded flooring, and tactile engagement stations.

Having a local, easily accessible sensory room will be a life changer for many families in our area. It will provide a much needed local haven for therapy, development, and calm, completely removing the burden of long travel times.

We are incredibly proud to be able to help such a worthy cause, but we cannot complete the final phase without community support. Every donation, no matter the size, goes directly toward equipping and maintaining this room for the families who need it most.

Forward Facing is a registered charity that provides creative and fun activities for children and young people with long term or life limiting conditions; including their families and local people who are suffering bereavement or are disadvantaged in other ways.

We make memories, build confidence, and support families facing difficult times.

We do this through Memory Making Days and fun days out for the whole family.

We also hold special events for parents and carers.
