Friends of Mettupalayam is a charity that supports children and adults in Mettupalayam, a small rural village in Tamil Nadu, South India. Their focus is primarily on children's education and nutrition, but have expanded to address wider healthcare issues for the villagers. We both feel a personal connection to this particularly charity. For Cody, it is one in which her grandparents have been very involved with for over 30 years. For Sarvesh, it is located very close to where his grandparents live and where his family are from.
