The inspiration for this event is our 15 year old granddaughter Macy who was diagnosed with Anca vasculitis in Feb 2024. Unfortunately the vasculitis caused her kidneys to fail and she now has dialysis daily and is waiting to have a kidney transplant. This past year has been challenging for her but she has coped remarkably well with her diagnosis and we are very proud of her and have been amazed at the strength and resilience she has shown this past year. Our aim is to raise as much money as we can to enable more research into treatment options which could help other people like Macy who have been diagnosed with this terrible disease. Any donation however big or small will be greatly appreciated.
