Colonsay and Oronsay Heritage Trust is in the process of securing new permanent premises, namely the unit at Scalasaig presently occupied by Colonsay Brewery.

With this initiative we hope to secure the future of the trust going forward, find a safe home for our growing collections and provide a multifunctional space for a variety of community centred uses.

The sale has been agreed in principal and it is hoped that grant funding will be available through the Scottish Land Fund towards the purchase. The trust will have to meet some of the purchase price and fund the conversion of the building.
