On Friday 14 November 2025, a team from OPI will once again lace up their boots and join colleagues from across the UK business products industry to take on the Climb of Life (COL) in the stunning – and often unforgiving – mountains of the English Lake District.

The event is not for the faint-hearted – the mountains are high, the weather is harsh, and the going can be tough. This short video from a previous climb will give you a taste of what we face each year: Watch here.

We’ll be tackling many of the UK’s toughest peaks in winter conditions, all to raise vital funds for the Institute of Cancer Research (ICR), one of the world’s most influential cancer research organisations. In partnership with The Royal Marsden hospital, the ICR forms the largest comprehensive cancer centre in Europe, delivering life-changing research and treatments.

For more than 15 years, OPI has proudly supported this event. Along the way, we have sadly lost two much-loved colleagues to cancer, and their memory continues to inspire every step we take. This climb is for them, but also for a dear friend and teammate who has been battling cancer for the last year, and for everyone whose lives have been touched by this devastating disease.

We know these are challenging economic times, and every contribution is deeply appreciated. However large or small, your support makes a real difference and will help fund groundbreaking research that brings us closer to a world where no one loses a loved one to cancer.
