Two Rangers Supporters Clubs based in Northern Ireland have teamed up and have organised a sponsored cycle to raise funds for the Emmie Smillie Charity Foundation.
K.O.B Rangers Supporters Club from Sandy Row and Coleraine True Blues Rangers Supporters Club have pledged to complete a sponsored charity cycle from Coleraine to Sandy Row, Belfast on Saturday 29th June 2024.
The Emmie Smillie Charity Foundation is a cancer focused charity formed by the Smillie Family back in 2016 and formally registered as a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO) in March 2017.
From ESCF website it, “As individuals, families, or simply close friends or acquaintances, we, or one of our loved ones will all at some time in our lives been affected by this, as yet uncontrollable disease which attacks the human body with indescribable suffering to the individuals affected but likewise creating a different pain and angst to families and loved ones. Therefore, it is most likely you will have, either as individuals or as groups, previously donated to or pro-actively supported in some way either some or most of the leading UK Cancer related Charities to help fund the leading Cancer Research Bodies. We would now like you to support the ESCF.”
Andy Smillie (Senior) Chairman and Trustee of the ESCF is no stranger to members of both RSC’s and is a regular visitor to Ulster’s shores is fully supportive of this event being organised by both Clubs.
