Having been diagnosed about 2 years ago with a condition called Lichen Sclerosis I have been on a journey which has been difficult at times both physically and emotionally.. I have learned so much about this condition from reading and talking to others that are affected and one thing I have discovered is that there is very little funding for research as approximately 1 in 100 women are living with an increased risk of vulval cancer as a result of the condition. I want to see more research so that myself and others can live more comfortably and safely in the future.
