On the 28th of April, we are doing the kiltwalk to raise funds for the amazing BACE.

At the end of this year, I am travelling to Gambia to help the most incredible organisation.

BACE set up, built and runs a nursery school for 3 -7-year-olds and now have 120 children over 3 classes. In addition, they built and run a Health care clinic. For them to sustain the charity fundraising is essential. They fund 15 staff wages and provide a meal per day for the children which costs on average £6 per child per month!

As they are a UK registered charity they can claim gift aid and this really does add up and make a huge difference.

Unlike some other charities, all volunteers & trustees pay 100% for their own trip and expenses so everything we raise supports the charity directly as there are no overheads in the UK. No fancy office, no wages - all volunteers!
