Prostate Cancer UK has a simple ambition - to stop men dying from prostate cancer. Through shifting the science over the next 10 years to focus on radical improvements in diagnosis, treatment, prevention, and support, we will stop prostate cancer being a killer.

The Barton on Humber Lions CIO, supported by the Barrow on Humber Meridian Rotary Club and The White Swan in Barton, are again holding a Charity Triathlon, this time raising much needed funds for Prostate Cancer UK. The popular but exhausting and challenging triathlon involves a golf competition followed by darts and dominoes knockout tournaments.

Several members of our organisations have been affected and successfully treated for prostate cancer and by holding this event we wish to increase awareness in men of this deadly condition.
