The members of the Winterton Iron, (Scunthorpe United Supporters Group), raise funds each year for a chosen charity. This year they are raising funds for the Lincs and Notts Air Ambulance.

To support their fund raising efforts I have organised a match day sponsored walk from Barton on Humber to the Scunthorpe United Stadium on Saturday 8th November. It is a 20 mile walk via Winterton arriving at the football ground before their 3.00pm home game against Yeovil Town.

Hopefully we will raise much needed funding towards the operation and maintenance of the air ambulances and ground response units. Walkers are welcome to join in for the whole or their preferred sections of the walk - please contact me for further details
