Collin: They say that every 3 minutes dementia steals a happily ever after" and as a professional carer I have witnessed first hand it's devastating effect on both the individual as well as family and friends. So it is a wonderful experience to be involved with the Alzheimer's foundation, the UK's leading research charity and help them by raising as much as I can by joining my friends in an amazing Skydiving event on Saturday Aug 23rd. I hope to do just that!! So thank you to anyone who donates to such a worthy cause and supports me on the day 🙏..
Nusrat: I’m about to take on one of the biggest challenges of my life—skydiving! It’s been a dream of mine for years, and now I’m finally making it happen. But this isn’t just about chasing adrenaline—I’m doing it to raise vital funds and awareness for Alzheimer’s disease.
As a carer, I’ve witnessed firsthand the emotional and physical toll this illness takes—not just on those living with Alzheimer’s, but on their loved ones too. That’s why every second of this jump is dedicated to them.
I hope that by taking this leap, I can not only honor those I care for, but also help bring us one step closer to a world free from Alzheimer’s.
Rimal: I'm taking on a challenge that not only aims to push my limits and achieve greater heights for the future, but also helps raise funds for a charity close to my heart. I believe that this initiative can make a significant impact, and I would love your support. Whether it’s spreading the word, contributing, or simply cheering me on, every little bit helps!
Aneesh : Adventurous at heart and always up for a challenge, I’m finally ticking off a major item from my bucket list—skydiving! But this isn’t just about the thrill. Skydiving has always been a dream of mine—I love pushing my limits and embracing new experiences. But doing it for something bigger than myself makes it even more meaningful. As a carer, I have seen the struggle so I am using this opportunity to raise funds and awareness for Alzheimer’s disease. Lets raise as much money for this well deserve Charity.
Ajin: I wanted to challenge myself to experience something new and take on a once in lifetime oppertunity. The skydiving itself last only few minutes, but the purpose behind it will stay with me for a lifetime. This was never about jump it was about for standing upon a cause (Alzheimer's disease) that matters deeply to me and to soo many others.
Leah: I am very proud to be jumping with my staff again this year. We raised alot of funds last time and we are hoping to raise even more. Each staff are very scared for the skydive, so i am jumping with them to encourage them to reach their own personal goals, whilst raising funds for such an amazing charity. Please support us by sharing this page and donating anything you can.
Thank you, from the Norfolk Lodge Care team x
