Story

Hi all,

Most of you will know that I really hate running. Running the Glasgow 10k on Father’s Day might not seem like a challenge for some but it’s a challenge for me in more ways than one.

Sadly in late November 2024, I lost my dad suddenly to a stroke at the age of 70. I was not ready to lose my dad, a man that had taught me so much in my life. I’m moving forward knowing he’s watching down on me, his wife, daughter-in-law and 2 grandchildren proudly.

While my dad never wanted a fuss, my target of £2500 is a modest amount in relation to the number of lives he touched. I’m hoping with your help we can smash through this and provide help for future families that go through what I’ve gone through.

Thanks for your support and wish me luck!

Colin
