This summer I’m taking on the Wacky Rally – a 1,200-mile European road trip in a shark-themed car – all to raise money for the Motor Neurone Disease Association.

MND has touched my life deeply. I helped make a special mouth guard for a woman suffering with MND, and now a close friend, Chris, is living with the disease. This rally is in his honour – and for the many others affected, including three people in our hometown of Ilfracombe.

Our trip starts at Brooklands Museum and finishes in Barcelona, with daily challenges and epic roads like the Grand St. Bernard Pass and Monte Carlo’s F1 circuit. My lab, Edent, is sponsoring the car, and all extra donations go directly to MNDA.
