Scotland’s Charity Air Ambulance is Scotland’s only charity-funded air ambulance service. We rely on public support to keep flying and responding to time-critical emergencies wherever they occur in Scotland. No one in Scotland should die because help can't get there in time.

Story

Important Update 24th Oct 2024.

Unfortunately in June I contracted Lyme's Disease while running in London. This directly led to an overload injury on my right glute and hamstring during the Musselburgh 10k that has required ongoing and significant physio. I've yet to recover enough to be able to run without pain, let alone race.

So the first 3 of the 6 half marathons I planned to run this year are all I am going to manage.

Thanks to everyone who donated and supported the charity and myself this year. I still have some pictures to post of a visit to the SCAA base in Perth but as far as doing any more races this year, it's all over.

Cheers,

Colin

SIX Half Marathons in 12 months for the SCAA.

The Scottish Air Ambulance Service (SCAA) receives NO government funding unlike the other emergency services (yeah, I know, how bad is that?!?) so they have to rely fully on public support and charity to keep flying and responding to time-critical emergencies wherever they occur in Scotland.

If you can, please consider donating to this important service - you never know when you or a loved one might need them:
