Story
As Grandad to Felix, who was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia just a year ago I very much want to raise funds for the wonderful Candlelighters Trust, who have and are continuing to support Felix and his family so much during this very difficult time.
My challenge on July 19th, will be to complete a continuous seventy-two holes of golf in one day, on my local course (Sedbergh). This will involve a 5am start, 26 miles of walking and approximately seventeen hours of golf before I hope to complete the challenge.
Please show your support for my challenge and Team-Felix by donating to our just giving page.
Felix (now aged ten) is very involved in his own treatment and he has now passed the half way stage. He has a little more energy now and is actively fundraising for candlelighters Trust himself. He has added his own words to help me.
Hello my name is Felix; I was diagnosed with ALL (Acute lymphoblastic leukaemia) when I was eight years old (in April 2024) I am now ten.
My Mum & I set up this fundraising page for Candlelighters because they have really helped us on our journey and we really want them to be able to help others too. If you are here to donate thanks a lot for your donation. This makes the journey that little bit easier for children like me.
