All 282 hills now climbed!!!

My Munro round began with Ben Nevis in July 1997 and finished on the remote Sgurr Mor in the Rough Bounds of Knoydart around 12.15 on September 24th 2025!

It has taken a long time, but now it’s done! Hard to believe.

As you know, I was seriously ill 10 years ago - something that messed up my Munro plans! Blood cancers can affect anybody and ongoing research by, amongst others, Blood Cancer UK is delivering real improvements and outcomes.

As well as raising money for the chosen charity, I have decided I will donate an additional 10% to the hard working folk of the Haematology Department at the Leicester Royal Infirmary.

My enormous thanks to you who have supported me along the way and to those who have donated so generously, allowing me to beat my fund raising target.

For those who haven’t had a chance to donate yet, it’s not too late…

Now I’m off to find my slippers.
