Running in full 4 Romeo (Respirator), with body armour, webbing and daysack (15kg).

The UK's leading charity for veterans' mental health. For over a century, we've helped former servicemen and women deal with issues like trauma, anxiety, depression and post-traumatic stress disorder. Today, we provide support to veterans from every service and every conflict.

Story

Over the last few years you have helped me raise £20,000+ for Combat Stress doing various events.

This has funded 244 veterans to get 1:1 occupational therapist sessions or 667 calls to the helpline. This amazing generosity helps so many veterans and that is why I want to get involved again.

The challenge:

During February and March, I will run in 4 Romeo (full CBRN suit and Respirator), with body armour, webbing and daysack weighing 15kg. I aim to run 60km+ over the time, but hopefully do more.

This time I have added the burden of weight which makes it even more challenging, and as anyone knows who has ever worn this kit - it is honking!

Please support if you can. Any donation over £100 will generate another 2K onto my running task.

Thanks,

Kirky
