Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Last year my brother inlaw Peter was at work when he suddenly collapsed with a heart attack. His workmates did what they could until the air ambulance arrived and worked with Peter to give him a fighting chance. Unfortuanately he didnt survive. Peter was a avid supporter of the Air Ambulance and it was only a week before when he was in Banbridge showing his support to a fund raising event for The Air Ambulance. So please show your support in raising funds for the charity.
Myself and Peters brother Robert are taking part in a Dragon Boat race fund raiser on 19th June in Belfast as part of the TEDS PADDLERS TEAM on behalf of the charity so please donate. You never know whats on the road ahead of you but having the Air Ambulance makes that road longer to have a bright future for those in need of the service.
What many people don’t realise is that the Air Ambulance is funded by the generosity of the public. They aspire to raise £8,200 per day in fundraising, which is equivalent to £3 million annually, to keep this lifesaving service running and operational.
Air Ambulance NI is fortunate to count on tremendous public support and goodwill, and we will never take this for granted. It’s not only the medical crew who save lives, but the people who support our service.
They cover 100% of Northern Ireland, attending on average 2 incidents per day. Your donations and support make this possible.
