I am going to climb over the South Glen Shiel Ridge (the snowy, jagged bit at the top) to raise money for the 7 Academy Street Project in our home town of Elgin. The Project needs to raise around £420,000 and proceeds from sponsorship for this massive hike will go towards that sum. It is a marvellous but arduous ridge walk 17 miles long involving the ascent and descent of 7 Munros (mountains in Scotland over 3,000ft). It will take a minimum of 12 hours and will be completed in one day! The date will be determined by a good weather day in July 2023. Eithne will collect what's left of me at the end of the day!
