Story

My Grandson Hunter was born early October 2024, he was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis, since his birth he's spent most of his little life so far in hospital.

The hospitals and Cystic Fibrosis Trust have been fantastic.

So the team Kerry Ratford, Matthew Chatters and myself are walking from the war memorial in Rainham Essex, past Queens Hospital where Hunter was born, onwards to The Royal London Hospital where he's spent so much of his time and then finishing half way on Tower Bridge London.

Anyone that knows me, knows how much this means to me and the team, we welcome any donations, no matter how small, thank you.

Cystic fibrosis (CF) is a genetic condition which causes sticky mucus to build up in the lungs and digestive system. It affects more than 11,000 people in the UK. One in 25 of us carries the faulty gene that causes it, usually without knowing.

Cystic fibrosis comes with challenges, affecting our physical health, mental wellbeing and how we choose to live our lives. But our community is uniting towards the ultimate goal of effective treatment for all.

Cystic Fibrosis Trust is the charity uniting people to stop cystic fibrosis.
